Janu Al Marjan Island will add an Aman Group-operated hotel and residences beside Wynn Al Marjan Island, expanding Ras Al Khaimah’s luxury hospitality pipeline.
Wynn Resorts, Limited and Marjan LLC are developing Janu Al Marjan Island, a new hospitality and residential project on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Aman Group will develop, manage and operate the resort, which is slated to open in late 2028. The project represents the partners’ second joint venture development on the island and will sit directly across from Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Janu is positioned around social wellness, human interaction and playful expression rather than a conventional resort format. The hotel will contain 132 rooms with views of the Arabian Gulf, while the wider development will include a Janu Wellness centre with a yoga studio, gym, banya and hammam. Its guest offer will also include a mixology bar, two restaurants, a nightlife venue and a dedicated kids’ club.
The development will extend beyond hotel accommodation through a private beach, beach club and pool, alongside a residential tower offering Janu Residences with one- to five-bedroom units. A limited collection of standalone villas is also planned. The combination of hospitality and branded residences gives the project a broader operating model, linking short-stay guests with longer-term property owners within the same destination.
The project is being developed alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is under construction and is set to open in 2027. Wynn’s resort is planned as the United Arab Emirates’ first integrated resort, with 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, beach club, spa, salon, marina and shopping promenade. Wynn’s President of Wynn Al Marjan Island said Janu’s guests and residential owners are expected to provide an additional source of visitation to the neighbouring resort.
For Marjan, the project adds another internationally branded hospitality concept to Al Marjan Island as Ras Al Khaimah develops its waterfront tourism offer. For Aman Group, Janu provides a platform for its more socially oriented hospitality concept in the emirate, while the adjacent Wynn and Janu projects create a concentrated cluster of luxury accommodation, residences and leisure facilities.
