The Springs Resort and Murrieta Hot Springs Resort are adding CauseMedic treatments and amenities in an August collaboration that connects geothermal bathing with plant-based recovery.
The Springs Resort, together with Murrieta Hot Springs Resort and CauseMedic, is introducing a month-long wellness collaboration tied to National Wellness Month in August. Announced on July 7, 2026, the partnership will bring CBD-enhanced spa treatments, recovery-focused amenities and restorative experiences to the two hot springs properties in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Murrieta, California. The programme reflects a focused effort to extend the role of hot springs beyond soaking into a broader self-care itinerary.
The collaboration places hemp-derived CBD within an established resort setting built around mineral-rich geothermal water, therapeutic spa services and wellness programming. CauseMedic describes its products as combining CBD with active botanicals and naturally nourishing ingredients, with formulations intended to support pain relief and skin health. According to the release, guests at both destinations will have access to exclusive offerings throughout August that complement each resort’s existing hot springs experiences.
At The Springs Resort, the programme includes a 90-minute CBD Deep Relief Ritual featuring a CauseMedic Wellness Shot, CBD Dead Sea Salt Scrub, Gua Sha massage, CBD Relief Cream and full-body massage. The resort will also offer a Sweet Dreams Room Enhancement, CBD Relief Cream in its Wellness Studio, and CBD Wellness Elixirs at the Canteen and 1881 Poolside Provisions. The Wellness Shot contains 30 milligrams of full-spectrum CBD alongside ingredients including ginger, cayenne, ashwagandha, cordyceps and lion’s mane, according to the release.
Murrieta Hot Springs Resort will offer a 110-minute Signature CBD Recovery Ritual built around a CBD salt scrub, full-body massage, Gua Sha and CauseMedic’s CBD Relief Cream. Its Rest & Renew Kit will include CauseMedic sleep gummies, CBD Relief Cream and KNESKO Eye Masks, while Wellness Shots will be served nightly from 5 to 7 p.m. during Wellness Happy Hour on the Bathhouse rooftop. Guests will also be able to add a shot to selected dovetails, the resort’s signature zero-proof cocktails.
The announcement positions the partnership as an extension of each resort’s existing approach rather than a standalone product promotion. Sharon Holtz, vice-president of wellness at The Springs Resort, said the collaboration was intended to encourage guests to restore both body and mind, while CauseMedic founder Hugh Huffaker described the pairing of geothermal waters and botanical CBD formulations as complementary. With availability expected to be limited, the August programme gives both properties a defined way to package treatments, in-room amenities and drinks around recovery, relaxation and everyday wellness.
