Acqualina Resort & Residences is positioning its complimentary AcquaMarine children’s programme as a central part of the family stay, pairing marine biology-inspired activities with access to the resort’s wider leisure offering. Designed for guests aged 4 to 12, AcquaMarine gives children a daily schedule of ocean-themed programming while parents use the beach, pools, spa and restaurants. The announcement places family programming alongside accommodation and wellness as part of the resort experience.
The programme is built around a different daily theme and a mix of creative, educational and active sessions. Acqualina says activities include coral reef lessons, seashell-themed arts and crafts, treasure hunts and group games, with the format intended to keep children engaged while introducing them to marine subjects. Reservations are recommended in advance, and access is complimentary for resort guests.
The release illustrates the programme through a “Tropical Treasure Thursday” schedule that included a coral reef discussion and activity, football, a seashell search, foam ocean-visor decorating and wooden treasure-chest painting. Children also took part in musical chairs and a game called Pop Pop Bunny Hop. For parents, the proposition is less about a standalone kids’ club than about creating parallel uses for the resort. While children participate in supervised activities, adults can use Acqualina’s three oceanfront pools, white-sand beach, 20,000-square-foot spa and named dining venues, according to the release. Acqualina is also promoting several stay offers that include complimentary AcquaMarine access for children aged 4 to 12. The Summer Sanctuary package includes up to 15% off, a $150 resort credit, daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade at check-in and late check-out for stays through September 2026, subject to a three-night minimum; other offers provide a complimentary fourth or fifth night on qualifying stays. Together, the programme and packages make family activities part of Acqualina’s broader value proposition without separating them from the resort’s premium setting.
