The Indianapolis company has introduced a diaper disposal system that seals each diaper at the point of disposal, positioning odour control as a product feature rather than an afterthought.
Pario has introduced the Pario DiaperSealer, a diaper disposal system designed to seal odours and germs at the point of disposal. The Indianapolis-based home and family products company says its proprietary Advanced Capsure Sealing System individually seals each diaper as it is discarded, rather than relying on a shared bag or enclosed compartment. The move places containment technology at the centre of a familiar nursery product category where odour management is a primary consumer concern.
The DiaperSealer is built around a multi-layer film that includes an EVOH oxygen-barrier layer. According to Pario, the film forms an individual sealed capsule around each diaper, containing odour and the germs that cause it immediately. That approach differs from traditional diaper pails, which the company says generally depend on scented liners or closed compartments to manage odour after disposal.
The product is offered as a DiaperSealer unit with a Cartridge Refill for $229, while three-pack Cartridge Refills are priced at $34.99. Both are available through Diapersealer.com, and Amazon availability is scheduled to begin in early October 2026. Pario has also begun a creator seeding programme with parenting content creators across the United States, extending the product’s introduction beyond direct retail.
Pario was founded by Jordan Riggs and Tom Bratton, who the company describes as having experience building products for major consumer brands. Its stated platform is the Advanced Capsure Sealing System, which is intended to contain odour and bio-waste at the point of disposal. The company says it is developing additional products that could apply the system beyond the nursery, although the DiaperSealer remains its current consumer focus.
The launch reflects a narrower form of product differentiation in household goods: improving a routine object by addressing the moment at which an unwanted problem begins. Rather than presenting the diaper pail as passive storage, Pario is positioning disposal itself as the point where odour and contamination should be managed. That proposition gives the company a defined entry point in family products while leaving its broader ambitions dependent on how effectively the sealing system translates to other household uses.
