The tequila brand’s collaboration with The Only Caviar and TY Bar positions curated pairing experiences as a growing expression of modern hotel luxury.
Volcan de mi Tierra staged The 6th Taste with The Only Caviar and TY Bar at Four Seasons Hotel New York, bringing tequila, caviar, live music and handcrafted cocktails together in a curated tasting experience. Held on Día de los Muertos, the event connected the brand’s luxury positioning with a hospitality setting built around discovery and service. The collaboration matters because it treats premium spirits as part of a wider sensory occasion rather than as a standalone drink.
The experience was structured around what the company described as a first-time meeting of two specialised crafts. Guests moved through a series of pairings designed to explore flavour, texture and provenance, with the hotel’s TY Bar providing the setting. Four Seasons Executive Chef Maria Tampakis said the event reflected the bar’s interest in experiences that invite guests to explore flavour in unexpected ways, while The Only Caviar founder Diego Sabino emphasised the shared themes of land, patience and precision.
The tasting unfolded in four chapters. Volcan Blanco was paired with White Sturgeon, Volcan Reposado with Siberian Sturgeon, and Volcan X.A. with Ossetra Sturgeon. The final pairing, exclusive to Four Seasons, matched Volcan Blanco Tahona with Albino Sturgeon. The company identifies Volcan Blanco Tahona as a handcrafted, small-batch expression, while The Only Caviar describes its products as sourced from sturgeon raised in Italian farming conditions.
The format gives Volcan de mi Tierra a way to communicate craftsmanship through a hospitality experience rather than through product information alone. Its tequila portfolio was presented alongside food, music and cocktail service, creating several points of engagement for guests and placing provenance at the centre of the occasion. Carlos Pechieu, the brand’s chief executive, said the pairings were intended to reveal new dimensions of flavour, texture and provenance between tequila and caviar.
A second ticketed tasting was scheduled to take place at TY Bar on December 31, 2025. The planned continuation extended the collaboration beyond a single themed evening and tied the partnership to another significant hospitality moment. For Volcan de mi Tierra, the programme demonstrates how luxury beverage brands can use carefully staged culinary encounters to deepen their presence in hotels, bars and destination-led occasions without relying solely on conventional tastings.
