Great Wolf Lodge is introducing Spring SplashFest across its resorts, pairing indoor water-park stays with crafts, games, entertainment and limited-time dining.
Great Wolf Lodge is introducing Spring SplashFest, a new seasonal celebration designed to give families a spring-break getaway centred on indoor water-park resorts. The programme combines spring-themed décor, crafts, games, dance parties and story time with access to an indoor water park maintained at 84 degrees year-round. The offer positions Great Wolf Lodge as a short-drive alternative for families seeking a holiday without air travel.
The celebration reflects Great Wolf Lodge’s broader use of seasonal programming to add themed activities to its resort proposition. Spring SplashFest is one of four seasonal celebrations offered by the company, alongside its wider mix of water attractions, family entertainment and food-and-beverage venues. Great Wolf Resorts, Inc. owns and operates 23 Great Wolf Lodge locations across North America, according to the company.
Activities include Spring Yoga Tails, spring-themed arts and crafts, seasonal games and Spring SplashFest Bingo. Guests can also attend a family dance party and interactive story time in the lobby, while children can make bracelets, keychains, buttons, origami, colouring pages and decorated wolf ears. The programme is supported by a limited-time food and drink collection available at all 22 U.S. locations, including a ranch bacon double burger, fire-grilled skewer trio, ranch milkshake and Wolf Brownie Ice Cream Tower.
The dining menu gives the celebration a commercial dimension beyond the resort’s core attractions, extending the seasonal theme into food and beverage occasions. Some of the items use deliberately playful combinations, including a vanilla ranch shake topped with fried chicken, carrots and celery, while the dessert centres on warm brownies, ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and whipped cream. Together with the activity schedule, the menu gives families multiple reasons to engage with the theme during a stay.
For Great Wolf Lodge, Spring SplashFest packages a familiar indoor-resort format into a time-specific family experience built around spring break. The approach allows the company to connect accommodation, attractions, entertainment and dining under one seasonal identity, while keeping the central proposition focused on shared, screen-free activities. Its significance lies less in a single attraction than in how the resort turns a school-holiday period into a coordinated programme across its properties.
