EDITION Hotels is bringing its Summer EDITION residency to Montauk through an American Express programme combining dining, wellness, art and live music.
EDITION Hotels, also referred to as EDITION, is taking The Summer EDITION to Montauk for a two-day residency presented by American Express at The Crow’s Nest on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, 2026. The programme is scheduled to offer fine-art installations, dining, wellness activities and musical performances for American Express Platinum Card and Centurion Members through the Premium Events Collection. The announcement places a hotel brand’s cultural programming inside a seasonal destination, extending EDITION’s hospitality proposition beyond the conventional property setting.
The Montauk programme is described as the second instalment of The Summer EDITION series, following a two-week residency at El Silencio Ibiza. In Montauk, the concept is framed around the area’s bohemian character and EDITION’s approach to entertainment, food, design and wellness. The release says the event will create a meeting point for communities interested in those categories, while keeping access limited to eligible American Express card members. Advanced booking is required, with reservations offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The daytime retreat is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at a stated price of $100. According to the release, guests will be able to move between fitness classes with Barry’s Bootcamp, wellness sessions with Remedy Place, including sound healing and ice-bath plunges, and an SPF station from Augustinus Bader. A seasonal lunch will draw on EDITION’s hotel portfolio, while photographer Ben Watts will present selected works from his Montauk archive. Two dinner seatings are scheduled for Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, at a stated price of $250.
The dinners will be crafted by Mauro Colagreco, identified by the release as Chef Partner of The Lake Como EDITION and a three-Michelin-star and green-star award-winning chef. The menu is scheduled to use ingredients including tomatoes, peaches, fresh burrata, lobster, Chilean sea bass, garden herbs and citrus, shaped through what the release calls Colagreco’s Argentinian-Italian perspective. Brian Newman and his band are scheduled to perform during the meals, while cocktails will take inspiration from EDITION properties in destinations including Riviera Maya, Miami Beach, West Hollywood and Barcelona. Watts is also expected to document the evening programmes.
For EDITION, the Montauk residency illustrates how the brand is presenting hospitality through temporary combinations of place, food, wellness, visual art and entertainment. The release attributes that positioning to the brand’s wider aim of bringing its design and cultural point of view to destinations that define the season. American Express, meanwhile, describes the partnership as part of its Premium Events Collection, which is intended to bring dining, culture, wellness and entertainment together for its card members. The Montauk edition is therefore scheduled as both a local weekend programme and a further expression of EDITION’s global pop-up format.
