The cruise line has outlined seven Northern Europe voyages for 2027, combining smaller ports, regional shore experiences and routes spanning Scandinavia, Iceland and Greenland.
Oceania Cruises has outlined a 2027 Northern Europe season built around small-ship voyages through the Baltic and Scandinavia, the British Isles and Ireland, Greenland, Iceland and Norway’s Northern Fjords. The programme includes Oceania Insignia, Oceania Marina and Oceania Vista, with itineraries designed around the region’s long summer days and coastal access. The announcement places destination variety, rather than a single flagship route, at the centre of the cruise line’s offering.
The season pairs recognised cities such as Copenhagen, Reykjavik and Stockholm with destinations the release says are not always accessible to larger vessels. Those include Rosendal in Norway, Stornoway in Scotland, Seydisfjordur in Iceland and Karlskrona in Sweden. That mix gives the programme a clear geographic spread while keeping smaller ports and regional character central to the proposition.
The seven highlighted voyages range from 10 to 14 days. Baltic Beauty is an 11-day sailing from Stockholm to Copenhagen departing June 10, 2027, while Castles of Ice & Stone covers 14 days from London to Copenhagen, departing June 22, 2027. Other departures include Landscapes of a Lifetime from Reykjavik on July 4, Charms of Northern Europe from Paris on July 16, Fjords to Icelandic Vistas from Stockholm on August 7, Fabulous Fjords from Reykjavik on August 8, and Rugged to Rustic from Reykjavik to London on August 19, 2027.
The shore programme extends the destination focus beyond port calls. In Eidfjord, the release describes an excursion centred on Hardanger apple-growing traditions and cider tasting; in Visby, a Culinary Discovery Tour explores Swedish farm-to-table practices through local farms and a seasonal lunch. A 4×4 experience from Seydisfjordur to Brekka in eastern Iceland is also included, illustrating how the line is packaging food, culture, history and outdoor exploration as part of the itinerary.
Oceania Cruises says the Northern Europe voyages form part of a wider global schedule featuring more than 600 ports and over 250 unique itineraries each year. The line also describes its ships as offering personalised hospitality, an adults-only setting and its branded dining proposition, while five Sonata Class ships are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2037. For the 2027 programme, the emphasis remains on using smaller ships to connect established Northern European gateways with less-accessible coastal destinations.
