Four new lease agreements will bring Urban Air parks to five communities, extending the franchise’s retail-based growth strategy and adding a Fresno market debut.
Urban Air Adventure Park has signed four new lease agreements for parks in California and Georgia, extending the indoor family entertainment brand’s footprint across five communities. Three locations are planned for Tracy, Fairfield and Fresno, while a fourth is set for Douglasville, Georgia. The expansion gives Urban Air a new market in Fresno and adds further scale in states where the franchise already has development activity.
California accounts for three of the agreements, with five Urban Air parks currently operating in the state and eight additional locations in development. The planned Fresno site would mark the brand’s entry into that market, while the Tracy and Fairfield parks would deepen its presence in California. The fourth agreement, in Douglasville, broadens the company’s 2026 development activity beyond the state.
The new locations are backed by several franchise operators with experience in technology, small-business ownership and multi-unit operations. Tracy will be led by Anil Madahati and the Wave Wealth team, while Sanj Purewal and Pinder Sangha will lead the Fairfield site. Parag Laddha will oversee Fresno, and Alison McReynolds and her husband, Uwezu “Lonnie” McReynolds, will lead the Douglasville park.
Urban Air says its parks offer more than 20 attractions, including ropes courses, Sky Rider, adventure slides, Battle Beams, laser tag, dodgeball courts and obstacle courses. Each location also includes a fast-casual café, a format the company says creates a broader guest experience and supports diversified revenue streams for franchise owners. Ryan Slemons, chief development officer at parent company Unleashed Brands, said the agreements reflect confidence in the model from franchise partners and landlords.
The expansion illustrates how large-format family entertainment concepts can use franchise development and retail locations to reach new local markets. Urban Air describes itself as having more than 400 parks open or under development worldwide, while also positioning the new agreements as a way to activate retail centres and serve families. With Fresno adding a new California market and the other sites extending existing activity, the company is continuing to build its network through a combination of franchise participation and property commitments.
