HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 has opened applications for a hosted-buyer programme designed to connect qualified international buyers with suppliers across the Greater Bay Area.
HOTELEX has opened applications for its Hosted Buyer programme for HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026, inviting international hospitality and foodservice buyers to take part in organised supplier meetings from 13 to 15 October 2026 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The programme is aimed at distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, franchise operators and other qualified buyers. Its focus is a more structured approach to sourcing within the Greater Bay Area, where the event says participants can meet regional suppliers across the hospitality and foodservice supply chain.
The exhibition is being positioned as a business platform rather than solely a product showcase. HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 is scheduled to bring together more than 2,500 exhibitors and more than 150,000 professional buyers, according to the release. Those figures cover the wider hospitality and foodservice ecosystem, giving the hosted-buyer programme a setting built around multiple supplier categories and commercial conversations.
Under the programme, invited buyers will be matched with exhibitors according to their sourcing interests and business objectives, with appointments arranged in advance. HOTELEX says the format is intended to help participants identify products, assess potential suppliers and develop business relationships through more targeted discussions. Eligible hosted buyers are also due to receive hotel-to-venue shuttle transport, access to a buyers’ lounge with refreshments, participation in business matchmaking sessions, and entry to industry forums and networking activities during the exhibition.
The announcement reflects the practical demands of international procurement, where time at a trade fair can be limited and supplier discovery may otherwise depend on navigating a large exhibition floor. By making business meetings a central part of the visitor offer, HOTELEX is tying the event’s value to the quality and relevance of buyer-supplier connections, while retaining forums and networking as additional parts of the programme. The release describes Shenzhen’s position within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a gateway to China’s hospitality and foodservice sector and to the broader Asian market.
For HOTELEX, the hosted-buyer programme adds a defined commercial layer to the Shenzhen edition and gives selected international participants a set of services built around procurement, meetings and access. The exhibition is scheduled for 13–15 October 2026, and the release reports that registration for the programme is open. Its significance will therefore depend on how effectively the planned appointments translate the event’s regional supplier base into useful conversations for qualified buyers.
