The Role Model collection extends Hydro Flask’s partnership with Universal Music Group, linking limited-edition drinkware with touring and efforts to reduce single-use waste.
Hydro Flask has teamed up with singer-songwriter Role Model, also known as Tucker Pillsbury, on an eight-piece collection of reusable drinkware inspired by his third studio album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass. The limited-edition range is the second artist-driven drop through Hydro Flask’s partnership with Universal Music Group, placing reusable hydration within music studios, songwriting sessions, live events and touring. The collaboration shows how drinkware brands are using entertainment partnerships to position everyday products within specific cultural communities.
The partnership is intended to bring reusable hydration into music culture while helping reduce single-use beverage waste across UMG’s global studios, songwriting sessions and live events. The collection coincides with the start of Role Model Presents: Chuck On Tour, which begins in Hydro Flask’s hometown of Bend, Oregon. It also extends the collaboration beyond physical products through a promotional spot featuring Role Model and longtime creative collaborator Ky Newman.
The collection comprises eight bottles selected and designed in partnership with Role Model, with colours and printed or engraved graphic elements drawing from the visual identity of Chuck Timely & The Hourglass. It includes variations of the 32 oz Wide Flex Straw Cap, 24 oz Wide Flex Straw Cap and 400mL Micro Hydro. Matching boots are included with all bottles for added protection against bumps and dings, while prices range from $37.95 to $49.95 in the United States.
Hydro Flask describes the collaboration as part of a broader effort to make reusables relevant to everyday life and music settings rather than treating sustainability as a separate consumer proposition. Role Model said outfitting his band and crew with reusable bottles helps cut down on waste while touring, giving the product a practical role within the live-music environment. The accompanying campaign, filmed with Newman, adds a personality-led layer to the collection and connects its design story to the artist’s wider creative identity.
The Role Model x Hydro Flask collection is available through HydroFlask.com, giving the brand a direct route from music partnership to consumer purchase. Its combination of album-inspired graphics, touring context and reusable functionality reflects a focused approach to artist collaboration: the product remains familiar, while its cultural framing is tailored to a particular audience. For Hydro Flask, the collection adds another music-led expression to its reusable drinkware portfolio and keeps waste reduction central to the partnership’s stated purpose.
