The brand’s bottled Cosmopolitan combines vodka, cranberry, lime, orange zest and sparkling wine, extending its premium cocktail range into a recognisable celebratory serve.
Via Carota Craft Cocktails has launched the Sparkling Cosmo, a bottled interpretation of the Cosmopolitan that combines triple-distilled vodka, tart cranberry, fresh lime, bright orange zest and sparkling wine. Via Carota positions the drink as a ready-to-serve addition to its premium cocktail range, designed to preserve the familiar profile of the classic while adding effervescence. The move places a well-known bar serve within the increasingly practical format of a chilled, single-serve cocktail.
The Sparkling Cosmo is made at 11% ABV and comes in 200ml bottles, with the brand directing drinkers to chill, open and pour it without shaking, measuring or garnishing. That format gives the Cosmopolitan a more immediate role in at-home occasions, while retaining the visual and flavour cues associated with a mixed drink. Its positioning also reflects Via Carota’s focus on adapting classic cocktails for convenience without removing their recognisable identity.
The product joins Via Carota’s existing sparkling collection, which includes the Spritz, Paloma, French 75 and Sparkling Negroni. It sits alongside still ready-to-pour options including the Espresso Martini, Classic Negroni, White Negroni, Old Fashioned, Classic Margarita, Signature Martini and Signature Manhattan. The wider portfolio gives the company a platform for presenting familiar cocktail styles in a consistent bottled format rather than treating the Cosmopolitan as a standalone novelty.
The company also links the new drink to momentum around its French 75, which it says generated 6 million organic views on TikTok and prompted consumer requests for retailers to stock it. Ryan Giunta, president of Via Carota Craft Cocktails, said the response reinforced the brand’s view that drinkers are interested in sparkling cocktails that combine distinctive flavour with ease. The Sparkling Cosmo therefore extends an existing product direction rather than introducing a separate format.
The Sparkling Cosmo is available in four-packs priced at $23.99 through retailers including Total Wine, select Trader Joe’s locations, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and Stew Leonard’s, with a 10-pack priced at $69 online. By pairing broad retail distribution with a format suited to immediate consumption, Via Carota is making the Cosmopolitan easier to serve beyond the bar. The development leaves the brand competing on both recognisable cocktail cues and the convenience of a ready-to-pour product.
