Orlando World Center Marriott is marking its 40th anniversary with a flexible package that lets guests exchange a two-night booking for selected resort experiences.
Orlando World Center Marriott is marking its 40th anniversary with the launch of its “Pick Your Perks” offer, available for stays booked through December 23, 2026. Guests who reserve at least two nights receive one selected perk per night, turning a standard accommodation package into a choice-led resort proposition. The offer reflects the property’s positioning as a large-scale destination where lodging, leisure and dining are combined on one site.
The resort opened on May 15, 1986, as Florida’s largest hotel, with 1,500 rooms. It has since grown to 2,010 rooms and now includes five ballrooms alongside more than 500,000 square feet of event and recreational space. That expansion places the anniversary promotion within a broader history of adding amenities and capacity rather than presenting the offer as a standalone discount.
Perk options include a cabana for up to four guests, a weekend poolside daybed for two, one round of championship golf with equipment rental, or a $150 dining credit. The credit can be used at Siro Urban Italian Kitchen and Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, while all choices are subject to availability at the time of booking and other restrictions. The promotion is available for reservations immediately, according to the release, with stays bookable through December 23, 2026.
The package gives different types of travellers a reason to value the same stay differently: families can select pool facilities, golfers can choose course access, and diners can direct the benefit towards on-site restaurants. That structure also makes use of the resort’s existing mix of attractions, including an 18-hole championship golf course, full-service spa, lagoon pool and River Falls Waterpark. The announcement therefore connects the anniversary milestone to the property’s breadth of amenities without relying solely on room inventory.
Orlando World Center Marriott General Manager Robert Bray said the anniversary celebration was intended to reflect the resort’s hospitality offer while giving guests flexibility to choose amenities that matter most to them. The property is owned by Host Hotels & Resorts and continues to operate as a 2,010-room resort in Central Florida. With the “Pick Your Perks” offer extending across the remainder of 2026, the anniversary becomes a way to package the resort’s established facilities around individual guest preferences.
