The sportsbook’s Missouri launch combines statewide mobile wagering with promotional offers, responsible-gaming tools and $600,000 in community donations.
FanDuel Group has launched its mobile sportsbook in Missouri as the state’s legal, regulated sports-betting market begins operating. Adults aged 21 and over across Missouri can download the FanDuel Sportsbook app, which offers wagering on sports including American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, boxing and soccer. The move extends FanDuel’s mobile sports-betting presence to 25 states and territories, placing the company in a newly regulated market with a substantial local activation programme.
The Missouri entry is framed around both product access and community activity. FanDuel is offering new customers who make a first wager of at least $5 a total of $300 in Bonus Bets, while also promoting a Missouri Super Boost tied to a Monday Night Football game. The company has positioned those offers alongside its stated focus on secure banking, rapid payouts, early Cash-Out functionality and round-the-clock customer service.
Local giving is a prominent part of FanDuel’s Missouri strategy. The company has committed $300,000 to Guns ’N Hoses, a St Louis-based nonprofit whose annual charity boxing event benefits The BackStoppers, which supports families of fallen and catastrophically injured first responders. In Kansas City, FanDuel is also committing $300,000 to the Veterans Community Project, which addresses veteran homelessness through transitional housing and wraparound support services; FanDuel employees are scheduled to take part in a volunteer activity on December 3.
The app’s broader proposition combines mainstream betting functions with features designed for live and more personalised use. FanDuel says it was the first US sportsbook to offer Same Game Parlay bets, live sports streaming within a betting app and early championship-team payouts, while its Pulse feature follows major sports storylines with live bets. Customers can also use in-app time, deposit and wager limits, alongside My Spend, a dashboard that displays personal play statistics and spending patterns to help users monitor their budgets.
FanDuel’s Missouri arrival therefore illustrates how sportsbook expansion is being packaged as a wider consumer platform rather than a standalone betting product. The company is pairing promotional incentives and sports coverage with educational material through an online betting guide and additional responsible-gaming support. With Missouri becoming its 25th mobile market and community commitments built into the launch programme, FanDuel is using the state’s regulated opening to establish both a commercial and civic presence.
