LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is pairing Draper James and POLYWOOD furnishings with hospitality programming, reflecting a broader move towards experience-led resort partnerships.
LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort has announced Après Sea, a seasonal partnership with Draper James and POLYWOOD that combines outdoor furnishings with food, beverage and wellness programming. The experience is scheduled to run daily from July 25 through October 25, 2026, at the Naples, Florida resort, which is managed by Noble House Hotels & Resorts. Its significance lies in extending a furniture and fashion collaboration into a physical hospitality setting, where guests and local visitors can encounter the brands through designed spaces and related activities.
The partnership centres on the Draper James by POLYWOOD collection, which brings Draper James’ Southern-inspired aesthetic together with POLYWOOD outdoor furnishings. At LaPlaya, the collaboration is organised around gathering areas rather than a single retail display, with the resort describing the programme as a way to frame the period after a day at the beach. The approach connects a resort stay with the visual language and product categories associated with outdoor living, while keeping the announcement focused on a defined seasonal activation.
On the resort’s Gulf Lawn, the programme includes Savannah three-piece rocking chair sets, Savannah four-piece deep seating sets with a sofa, and Savannah kids’ five-piece dining sets. A branded food and beverage service is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with Southern-inspired food, drinks and a children’s activity station. A Draper James pop-up shop is also planned to operate on the property throughout the activation, offering a curated summer collection tied to the collaboration.
The SpaTerre Veranda provides a second expression of the partnership, using POLYWOOD seating alongside design elements associated with Draper James. The space draws on the Tea Forté x Draper James Lemon Sunshine tea collection, with iced tea pours available at selected times. SpaTerre is also offering three Lemon Sunshine-themed treatments: a facial, a massage and a soaking-tub experience. Together, those details position Après Sea as a coordinated programme spanning furnishings, refreshments, retail and wellness rather than a standalone product placement.
POLYWOOD says the Draper James by POLYWOOD collection is backed by a 20-year lumber warranty and is made from proprietary all-weather lumber, with options across 13 colours, three finishes and 42 performance fabrics. Those product details give the resort installation a practical dimension, while the setting supplies a live hospitality context for the collection’s stated emphasis on outdoor durability and welcoming spaces. For LaPlaya, Après Sea creates a time-limited format for combining its resort environment with partner-led programming, with the activation scheduled to remain in place through October 25, 2026.
