The hospitality group is expanding its Dominican Republic presence with three resorts aimed at adults, families and broader multigenerational stays, supported by early booking incentives.
Lopesan Hotel Group is expanding its Punta Cana presence with three resorts scheduled to open in late spring 2026: Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay and Lopesan Splash Cove. Reservations are open, with a 10% introductory discount available for bookings made through February 28, 2026, for travel between June 1 and December 23, 2026. The move gives Lopesan a broader resort proposition in the Bávaro area, with properties designed around different guest profiles.
The three-resort development is built around a shared complex rather than a single uniform hotel offer. Lopesan Caoba Lagoon is positioned as the largest and most varied environment, combining pools, lagoons, water attractions, wellness facilities, event space and access to the beach. A central open-air promenade, The Boulevard, will connect the new resorts with Lopesan Costa Bávaro through dining, bars and entertainment venues.
Caoba Lagoon will include the Vela Beach Club Pool, a wave pool, Aquatica Waterpark and a planned 16,000-square-foot spa with 31 treatment rooms. Its convention centre and landscaped outdoor areas are intended to support meetings, weddings and social celebrations. The resort’s Flow campaign is centred on water-inspired design, including cenote-style pools and expansive lagoons set within gardens.
The other two properties divide the offer more sharply. Adults-only Lopesan Serenity Bay will contain 239 suites in one modern building, with access to shared entertainment including an 820-seat theatre, nightclub and casino, alongside dedicated venues such as Enclave, The Garden and Calma Bar. Lopesan Splash Cove will target families and multigenerational travellers with 244 rooms, five pools, a children’s pool, entertainment and sports programming, and access to a beach approximately 720 metres away.
José Alba, managing director of Lopesan Hotel Group, said the group’s approach is intended to let travellers with different ages and interests choose distinct experiences while remaining connected to the wider resort complex. That structure gives the company a way to segment demand within one destination, from quieter adults-only stays to water-focused family holidays and event-led visits. With bookings already available, the Punta Cana expansion places product variety and shared infrastructure at the centre of Lopesan’s next stage in the Dominican Republic.
