The 2027–2028 season adds 18 voyages and 18 destinations, extending Four Seasons Yachts’ strategy of pairing luxury hospitality with less-visited coastal access.
Four Seasons Yachts is expanding its Caribbean programme for 2027–2028 with 18 curated voyages and 18 additional destinations, including Costa Rica as a featured destination. The itineraries are built around intimate marinas, lightly visited ports and extended time at anchor, positioning the season around access to places that are less readily reached by larger vessels. The programme will be the brand’s second Caribbean season, following its Mediterranean debut in March 2026 and its first Caribbean winter season later in 2026.
Costa Rica forms the clearest point of differentiation in the new schedule. Voyages will call at Marina Papagayo and Bahía Golfito, giving guests access to coastlines, wildlife refuges and protected ecosystems through private marinas. Selected journeys in January and February are timed to coincide with the seasonal migration of humpback whales in Costa Rica’s Pacific waters, while the company also identifies dolphins, sea turtles, tropical birds and monkeys among the wildlife guests may encounter.
The itineraries extend beyond individual port calls through pre- and post-voyage stays in Costa Rica and Cartagena, alongside Shore and Sea Experiences intended to deepen time on land. Across the wider Caribbean, the programme includes destinations such as Cartagena and Gustavia on St Barths, as well as Marina Days during which guests can swim, lounge and take part in water sports directly from the yacht. Overnight and late-night stays are also planned, while selected voyages will include transit through the Panama Canal.
Seasonal programming is another part of the expansion. Dedicated Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year voyages will travel through areas including the Lesser Antilles, with itineraries calling at Saint Lucia, Martinique, Antigua and Nevis during the Thanksgiving and Christmas period. The New Year voyage will include Curaçao and Colombia, combining festive travel with destinations described by the company for their cultural and cosmopolitan character.
The Caribbean expansion gives Four Seasons Yachts a broader platform for testing how a residential-style, all-suite yacht can compete through itinerary design as much as onboard amenities. Four Seasons I, the first vessel in the fleet, is scheduled for its inaugural voyage in March 2026, while Four Seasons II is set to debut in 2027. For the operator, the new season links the brand’s land-based hospitality model with more immersive coastal travel, without relying solely on conventional cruise-port access.
