The Oclip 2 Series adds directional movement, multiple light sources and charging options as Olight broadens a compact tool for work and outdoor settings.
Olight has introduced the Oclip 2 Series, a new generation of its clip-light range comprising the Oclip 2 Pro and Oclip 2 Ultra. Both models use a dual-axis design that tilts the light head by up to 115 degrees and rotates the clip through 360 degrees, allowing users to redirect the beam after mounting. The products are aimed at mechanics, public safety professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and others seeking hands-free lighting with multiple light sources.
The updated range builds on a product line that Olight says has more than one million users worldwide. Its central change is mechanical rather than simply cosmetic: self-locking pivots hold the selected angle in place, while dual magnets at the tail and clip allow the lights to attach to compatible metal surfaces in different orientations. Olight says the clip and dual-axis mechanism have each undergone testing across 10,000 cycles.
The Oclip 2 Pro combines flood, spot and red light in one compact body. Its flood mode reaches up to 530 lumens, its spot beam has a stated range of up to 125 metres, and its red light reaches up to 40 lumens. The Oclip 2 Ultra adds ultraviolet light through an R/UV emitter that combines red and UV functions, bringing the total to four light sources; its flood output reaches up to 580 lumens, its spot range up to 130 metres and its UV output up to 800 milliwatts for inspections.
The Ultra also has an OAL aluminium body and head, which Olight describes as combining high strength with scratch resistance, as well as an OclipBeat breathing light that changes colour according to cumulative usage time. Both models support USB-C and MCC charging. Premium versions include a 1,000 mAh Mobile Charging Dock that automatically recharges the light, displays the battery levels of both devices and extends total runtime to approximately twice that of the light alone.
The Oclip 2 Pro is offered in Classic Black, High-Visibility Orange and Tidal Blue, while the Oclip 2 Ultra comes in Olive Green, Onyx Black and Amber Orange. Both models are available worldwide through Olight’s official store, Amazon and authorised retailers, with standard versions priced at $49.99 for the Pro and $69.99 for the Ultra. The range positions adjustability, specialised light sources and flexible mounting as the main ways a familiar clip-light format can serve more demanding everyday tasks.
