The multi-year agreement places KNOX products across Wrexham AFC’s teams and training facilities, linking sports hydration with the club’s community ambitions.
KNOX Hydration has become Wrexham AFC’s Official Hydration Partner under a multi-year agreement covering the club’s men’s and women’s first teams and Academy. KNOX products will be incorporated into the training and performance environment, while the brand will hold naming rights for the club’s newly installed training pavilion. The arrangement gives the functional sports beverage company a prominent platform within a football organisation whose profile extends beyond the pitch.
The partnership places KNOX within a sports hydration market increasingly defined by products aimed at both elite athletes and active consumers. KNOX describes its drinks as being formulated with electrolytes, amino acids, vitamins and minerals, without sugar or caffeine, and positions the range around hydration, replenishment and recovery. The company has recently expanded into the UK and Europe and has also launched in the United States.
As part of the agreement, KNOX will work with Kevin Mulholland, Wrexham AFC’s Head of Performance & Sports Science, and the club’s wider sports science team on player recovery and performance through hydration. KNOX branding and products will appear around the team dugouts and dressing rooms at both the Racecourse Ground and The Rock. Further details about the training pavilion are due from the club in due course.
The arrangement also extends beyond team operations. KNOX and Wrexham AFC intend to explore initiatives supporting participation, wellbeing and a more active community in Wrexham, with the stated ambition of making hydration accessible from professional athletes to children taking part in their first sport. That broader remit gives the partnership a community dimension alongside its commercial and performance functions.
For KNOX, the agreement connects product use, venue visibility and community activity within a single football partnership. For Wrexham AFC, it adds a specialist hydration partner to the club’s performance infrastructure while supporting a wider effort to engage local communities. The deal therefore illustrates how sports beverage brands are using club relationships to associate everyday hydration with professional preparation and participation.
