Kavalan and La Maison du Whisky are presenting limited single-cask selections and an immersive distillery setting, linking anniversary activity with European whisky discovery.
Kavalan is returning to Whisky Live Paris 2026 with La Maison du Whisky, presenting five single-cask selections for the French partner’s 2027 catalogue alongside an exclusive whisky for the event. The collaboration comes as Kavalan marks 20 years since distilling its first spirit and La Maison du Whisky celebrates its 70th anniversary. Together, the partners are using the trade show to frame Taiwanese single malt through a combination of limited bottlings, cask variation and physical brand experience.
The five catalogue selections will appear under The Anthologists, the theme of La Maison du Whisky’s 2027 catalogue. They include Kavalan Solist expressions matured in Oloroso Sherry, Vinho Barrique, ex-Bourbon and Peated casks, as well as Kavalan Peatist whiskies finished in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. The range places single-cask differentiation at the centre of the partnership, with each selection presented as part of a curated collection rather than a standard core range.
The Whisky Live Paris exclusive is a Kavalan Solist Peated Cask Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky. La Maison du Whisky said the five catalogue labels draw on natural textures and abstract art, while the wider collection reflects its role as a curator of spirits. The event booth is also designed to recreate the atmosphere of Kavalan’s whisky warehouses in Taiwan, giving visitors a setting inspired by the distillery’s maturation spaces as they discover and taste the whiskies.
Whisky Live Paris 2026 is scheduled for 26–28 September at La Grande Halle de la Villette, where Kavalan is listed at booth No. 85. The programme also includes masterclasses scheduled for 26 September from 3:10 to 3:40 p.m. in Room 2 and 28 September from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Anthology Room. Those details position the collaboration as more than a product display, combining sampling, education and a deliberately constructed account of how Kavalan whisky matures.
For Kavalan, the appearance connects a milestone in its Taiwanese distilling history with a long-running relationship in one of Europe’s specialist whisky markets. La Maison du Whisky’s catalogue selections and the event-only bottling give the partnership several points of engagement, from collectible single-cask formats to the warehouse-inspired booth. The restrained implication is that the collaboration is designed to deepen how European enthusiasts encounter Kavalan, while keeping the whisky itself at the centre of the experience.
