The chocolate brand is widening its US retail footprint while using paired flavours and seasonal formats to create more occasions for premium everyday treats.
Ritter Sport USA is bringing its large-format DUO bars to 900 Target stores nationwide and adding two caramel-focused seasonal formats to its US range. The move gives Ritter Sport a broader presence in mass retail while extending its emphasis on combinations, variety and distinctive formats. Sweet & Salty DUO and Cookie DUO are available at Target this autumn, alongside new Mixed Caramel Minis and Caramel Choco Cubes for retailers across the country.
The DUO line was first introduced in autumn 2025 and is built around two side-by-side flavour experiences in one 7.7oz bar. Sweet & Salty DUO combines caramel cream and salty butter biscuit pieces with chocolate brownie, while Cookie DUO pairs chocolate cream with crunchy cookie pieces and vanilla cream with cocoa and vanilla biscuit pieces. Both are surrounded by milk chocolate and positioned as larger-format additions to the brand’s square-bar portfolio.
The seasonal assortment extends the caramel theme into smaller and shareable formats. Mixed Caramel Minis contain Caramel Pretzel, Caramel Popcorn and Double Caramel Crunch, while Caramel Choco Cubes combine milk chocolate with double caramel layers. Ritter Sport DUOs are available at Target and World Market from $9.75 suggested retail price, while the seasonal stand-up bags are available through retailers including Publix, CVS, Kroger, The Fresh Market, Raleys, HyVee and Woodmans from $6.89.
The range shows how Ritter Sport is using flavour architecture as well as packaging and size to separate products within a crowded chocolate aisle. Chris Avery, vice-president of sales for Ritter Sport USA, said the company is pairing its focus on ingredients with formats designed around variety and seasonal discovery. Sara Famulari, vice-president of marketing, described the wider portfolio as serving both everyday moments and special occasions.
The expansion also builds on Ritter Sport’s existing US positioning around premium chocolate and colourful square bars. The company says its portfolio is intended to give shoppers options across everyday and seasonal occasions, while its latest products keep caramel, biscuit and contrasting textures at the centre of the proposition. With Target distribution and additional seasonal listings, Ritter Sport is making that variety more visible across mainstream shopping trips.
