Two limited-edition six-packs give FatBoy’s Thick N’ Creamy range a seasonal update, pairing festive ice cream flavours with dark chocolate and graham wafers.
FatBoy Ice Cream has introduced limited-edition Peppermint and Gingerbread ice cream sandwiches, bringing two familiar holiday flavours to its Thick N’ Creamy range. Available in selected markets, the six-packs retain the brand’s established sandwich format while changing both the ice cream and the wafer pairing.
The Peppermint version combines peppermint ice cream with dark chocolate wafers. Gingerbread pairs gingerbread-flavoured ice cream with graham wafers, translating the flavour of the seasonal cookie into a frozen dessert. The two combinations offer distinct takes on the same format, with mint and chocolate providing one route and a cookie-inspired pairing the other.
The launch centres on familiarity. Consumers already know the flavours from holiday sweets and baking, while FatBoy supplies the thick ice cream sandwich associated with its core range. That approach gives shoppers a clear point of reference for the limited editions without requiring the brand to introduce an entirely different type of product.
Russell Stokes, chief executive of Casper’s Ice Cream, the company behind FatBoy, says nostalgia helped shape the choices. He describes the aim as reworking peppermint and gingerbread into frozen treats while keeping the thick, creamy bite customers expect from the brand. The company is positioning the sandwiches for occasions such as holiday movie nights and after-dinner dessert.
Both flavours carry a suggested retail price of US$5.99 per six-pack. The announced retail partners include selected Albertsons, WinCo, Bashas’, Eight Point, AFS and Bristol Farms locations. Availability varies by retailer and market, so the launch does not represent universal distribution across those chains.
The release identifies Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington as the participating states. FatBoy’s product locator provides a route for shoppers to check nearby availability. The sandwiches are described as limited-time offerings, with no specific end date announced.
For FatBoy, the additions give an established frozen novelty a role in seasonal shopping. The six-pack format also keeps the offer suited to stocking the freezer for several occasions, with the holiday flavours supplying the reason to choose it during a particular time of year.
The result is a focused extension built around flavour and wafer selection. Peppermint and Gingerbread broaden the brand’s seasonal range while leaving the underlying product recognisable, connecting holiday dessert references with a familiar ready-to-eat ice cream sandwich.
