Mempho Presents has set the 2026 Shell Daze programme, pairing established bluegrass acts with emerging local talent at Overton Park Shell.
Mempho Presents has set the daily programme for the fifth annual Shell Daze Music Festival, scheduled for April 17–18, 2026, at Memphis’ Overton Park Shell. Friday’s bill will feature Trampled by Turtles, Molly Tuttle and The Last Revel, while Saturday will bring Greensky Bluegrass, the Sam Grisman Project and Memphis artist Bailey Bigger. The programme places a two-day roots-oriented event at the centre of the city’s spring live-music calendar.
The festival’s structure reflects a combination of established touring names and artists with strong ties to bluegrass, folk and Americana traditions. Greensky Bluegrass is identified as celebrating its 25th year, while Molly Tuttle is described as a two-time GRAMMY winner with a new album. Trampled by Turtles, the Sam Grisman Project and Bigger broaden the bill across different generations and performance backgrounds without moving the event away from its acoustic and roots foundations.
Tickets are on sale, with early-bird general-admission prices set at $55 for a single day and $100 for two days. Early-bird VIP tickets cost $110 for a single day and $220 for two days. VIP access includes early entry, a viewing deck, a private discounted bar, an event poster, complimentary sodas and water, a 10 per cent merchandise discount and entry into a drawing for two VIP tickets to RiverBeat, SmokeSlam and Mempho Fest.
Producer Jeff Bransford said the festival would bring together artists with current projects and milestone moments, while describing Overton Park Shell as the setting for the venue’s 90th year and another festival season. That framing gives Shell Daze a dual role: it is both a ticketed music event and part of a wider programme of Memphis cultural activity curated by Mempho Presents. The company also produces RiverBeat, SmokeSlam and Mempho Music Festival.
For Mempho Presents, the 2026 edition demonstrates how a focused festival format can combine recognisable headliners, regional identity and tiered access without relying on a broad, multi-genre bill. The inclusion of Bailey Bigger alongside returning and touring acts keeps Memphis visible within the programme, while the VIP package links the event to the organiser’s other festivals. Shell Daze therefore extends the company’s seasonal portfolio while maintaining Overton Park Shell as its defining setting.
