ACTIIV Hair Care is extending its scalp-first approach into professional hair protection with INTEGRITYrx, a three-step system designed to support hair before and during chemical services, after processing and between salon appointments. The system combines Processing Shield, a professional-exclusive spray, with the REPAIIR Bio-Enrich Hair Mask and REPAIIR All-In-One Heat Protectant. ACTIIV says the system is intended to address the full damage cycle rather than focus only on repair after compromise.
The move takes ACTIIV beyond its established focus on thinning, shedding and scalp wellness while retaining the brand’s emphasis on healthier-looking hair. The company describes INTEGRITYrx as an expansion of that philosophy from the scalp to the hair fibre itself. Its underlying technology combines IntegriFLEX Technology, which supports multi-bond stabilisation and fibre flexibility, with BioREPAIIR Complex, a multi-action platform aimed at visible signs of compromised hair.
Processing Shield is applied before chemical processing, begins working in approximately 10 seconds and does not require mixing into colour or lightener. ACTIIV says third-party head-to-head instrumental testing showed up to two times better breakage protection than leading professional hair strengthening and repair treatments. The REPAIIR Bio-Enrich Hair Mask is designed to work after the service, with testing cited by the company showing up to 88% split-end repair, 61% less breakage and 93% less combing friction.
The third stage carries the routine into daily care through a lightweight leave-in treatment intended to help defend against heat styling, humidity, friction and everyday stress. ACTIIV cites testing showing up to 94% split-end repair, 87% less frizz, 43% less breakage and heat protection up to 450°F for the REPAIIR All-In-One Heat Protectant. The claims are qualified by the company as results from controlled third-party testing on treated, damaged or bleached human hair fibres and tresses, with outcomes varying by individual.
The REPAIIR Bio-Enrich Hair Mask and REPAIIR All-In-One Heat Protectant are available direct to consumers from September 15, 2026, while Processing Shield remains distributed exclusively through professional salons. Across the collection, ACTIIV identifies the formulas as colour-safe, vegan and cruelty-free, alongside being free from SLS/SLES, parabens and phthalates. INTEGRITYrx therefore gives ACTIIV a structured way to connect salon protection with continued home maintenance without abandoning the scalp-first positioning that defines the brand.
