The Treasure Beach Village opening at Beaches Turks and Caicos combines new accommodation, culinary venues and cultural programming in a broader brand expansion.
Beaches Resorts marked the opening of Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos with a celebration weekend on Grace Bay Beach, bringing together celebrities, dignitaries, global media and VIP guests. The $150 million, all-suite expansion was presented through a series of events spanning food, entertainment, sport and local culture. The weekend’s main celebration reached its peak on May 16, 2026, with the resort used as both venue and showcase for the addition.
The centrepiece is a 101-suite expansion designed around multi-bedroom accommodation, gathering spaces and experiences intended to connect guests with the Caribbean setting. The opening programme included a Regatta Golden Hour, a Caribbean Block Party and a dine-around experience across the resort’s restaurants. Those events positioned Treasure Beach Village not simply as additional room inventory, but as a platform for the wider Beaches Turks and Caicos offer.
The main event featured more than 170 performers, including a 50-person Junkanoo procession, local dance performers, fire and tightrope acts, and the international juggling troupe Jonglissimo. American Authors provided the headline performance, while illuminated boat installations at the village’s 15,000-square-foot pool referenced the islands’ conch-fishing heritage. The weekend also introduced attention to new dining venues, including Pinta Food Hall and Butch’s Island Chop House.
Alongside the entertainment, the programme connected the expansion to activities already shaping the resort experience. Guests took part in pickleball clinics led by APP professional Megan Fudge, joined mahjong sessions with Kari Long of Mahj on the Beach and travelled on Island Routes catamaran excursions. The Sandals Foundation’s Reading Road Trip also brought guests together with local students, adding an educational component to a launch otherwise built around leisure and spectacle.
For Beaches Resorts, Treasure Beach Village provides a highly visible expression of its next phase while preserving the family-focused, all-inclusive positioning described in the release. The company said the development marks the next chapter for the brand, with resorts on the horizon in The Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Its significance therefore rests on the way accommodation, programming and destination identity are being combined as the Beaches portfolio expands.
