The 112-room hotel has completed a broad renovation, sharpening its appeal as Flagler Avenue continues to anchor New Smyrna Beach’s visitor economy.
LBA Hospitality has completed a comprehensive renovation of the Hampton by Hilton New Smyrna Beach, refreshing guestrooms and public spaces at the 112-room hotel on historic Flagler Avenue. The property, owned by Key International and managed by LBA Hospitality, is positioned close to the beach and within walking distance of boutique shops, restaurants and local galleries. The work illustrates how established coastal hotels are using property upgrades to maintain relevance without changing their underlying location or brand identity.
The renovation reaches beyond cosmetic updates, according to LBA Hospitality. Guestrooms now feature new furnishings, soft goods, lighting and finishes, while key common areas have also been enhanced to create a brighter and more contemporary setting for leisure and business travellers. The changes retain the hotel’s distinctive architectural character, which the company says differs from traditional Hampton by Hilton properties and reflects New Smyrna Beach’s historic, beachside atmosphere.
The hotel continues to offer complimentary hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, a fitness centre and flexible meeting space. Its location on Flagler Avenue gives the property a close connection to the beach and to the commercial and cultural activity surrounding the destination’s main visitor corridor. Guests can obtain information or make reservations through the hotel’s dedicated website or by telephone.
Key International executive vice-president Shawn Gracey described the renovation as a long-term commitment to the market, citing what the company views as strong leisure demand and growth potential in New Smyrna Beach. LBA Hospitality president Beau Benton said coordinated investment by ownership and management can support guest satisfaction, the hotel asset and the surrounding community. Those comments frame the project as an operational and positioning decision as much as an interior refresh.
For the hotel, the renovation strengthens the connection between a nationally recognised lodging brand and a locally distinctive setting. The property’s continued offer combines familiar Hampton services with proximity to Flagler Avenue’s independent retail, dining and gallery scene, giving the refreshed rooms a clear destination context. LBA Hospitality’s role places the project within its wider hotel management and development work, while the New Smyrna Beach property remains the immediate expression of that investment.
