The Juniper+ extends Britax’s compact stroller proposition with travel-system functionality, targeting families seeking portability from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.
Britax Child Safety, Inc. (Britax) has introduced the Juniper+ compact stroller, an updated version of its Juniper model that pairs with select infant car seats through separately sold adapters. The product is designed to give families a travel-system option from the newborn stage through toddlerhood while retaining the portability associated with a compact stroller. Its positioning reflects a practical shift in child mobility products, combining early-stage car-seat compatibility with a format intended for everyday outings.
The Juniper+ is built around Britax’s FastPack system, which combines a one-hand RapidFold, a bumper bar that converts into a carry handle and a storage pocket that remains accessible when the stroller is folded. An integrated self-retracting carry strap and self-standing fold are intended to simplify transport and storage for parents managing limited space or carrying additional items. The stroller is offered in Teak and Raven Black.
Additional features include all-wheel suspension, no-flat tyres, a one-hand recline with an adjustable calf rest, enhanced ventilation and an expandable UPF 50+ canopy. Britax also specifies a large storage basket with a pocket and a parent cup holder. Infant car seat adapters enable compatibility with select Britax and competing infant car seats, with compatibility details provided through the company’s support materials.
Britax says the Juniper+ is available beginning February 2026 through its US website, participating retailers across the United States and select Canadian retail partners. The stroller is priced at $279.99 in the United States and $429.99 in Canada, while adapters carry suggested retail prices of $24.99 and $39.99 respectively. The pricing places the model within a clearly defined compact-stroller segment while adding functionality that otherwise may require a separate travel-system purchase.
The product gives Britax a way to extend an existing compact-stroller platform without abandoning its central portability proposition. Claudia Prager, Britax’s senior product manager, said the company heard from parents who valued Juniper’s ease of use but wanted flexibility from the beginning of a child’s life. Juniper+ therefore connects convenience-led design with a broader period of use, leaving the company to compete on how effectively one stroller manages transitions between car travel, storage and daily movement.
