The limited-edition tequila combines 28-month barrel ageing with Extra Añejo blending, presented in white-and-gold packaging for the holiday season.
Cincoro Tequila has introduced Añejo Reserva, a limited-edition expression positioned around holiday gifting and special occasions. The release pairs tequila aged for 28 months in Tennessee whiskey barrels with Cincoro Extra Añejo, giving the brand a new offering built around both its blending process and a distinctive white-and-gold presentation.
Made from Blue Weber agave sourced from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, the expression builds on the ingredients and barrel-ageing approach associated with Cincoro’s portfolio. The brand describes notes of toasted oak, baking spices, cooked agave and dark chocolate. Those tasting notes place the emphasis on a layered, barrel-influenced profile, while retaining agave as part of the flavour story.
The blend is central to the release’s identity. Bringing the 28-month-aged tequila together with Cincoro Extra Añejo gives the brand a specific production story to accompany the limited edition. The announcement does not disclose the proportions of the blend or the number of bottles being released.
Presentation carries equal weight in the holiday positioning. The white-and-gold bottle and accompanying gift box feature an agave design, connecting the packaging to the spirit’s core ingredient. For gift buyers, the coordinated bottle and box make presentation part of the purchase alongside the tequila itself.
The 750 mL bottle is priced at US$149.99, with sales beginning November 4 online and at selected retailers, including Total Wine & More and Binny’s. Distribution also includes selected high-end restaurants and cocktail bars, giving the expression a presence in both retail and hospitality settings. The release does not specify a closing date for availability.
Co-founder Emilia Fazzalari says she and Michael Jordan personally taste every batch before bottling. Their involvement links the new expression to Cincoro’s founder-led identity. The brand launched in 2019 with five founders: Fazzalari, Jordan, Jeanie Buss, Wes Edens and Wyc Grousbeck.
Añejo Reserva brings the liquid, packaging and timing together around a clearly defined occasion. For Cincoro, the release extends its aged-tequila offer through a blend and presentation designed to stand apart during holiday shopping. Its appeal rests on those tangible differences, with the limited-edition positioning providing an additional reason for existing customers to explore the portfolio.
