The AirDoctor 1500 extends the wellness company’s air-purifier range with a portable format designed for bedrooms, nurseries, offices and other smaller domestic spaces.
Ideal Living has added the AirDoctor 1500 to its home air-purifier range, combining a compact tower format with filtration intended for rooms of up to 320 square feet. The model is designed for bedrooms, nurseries, home offices, laundry rooms and bathrooms, extending the brand’s system into spaces where a larger appliance may be less practical. Its sub-10-pound weight also allows it to be moved between rooms.
The product reflects a room-specific approach to domestic air treatment rather than positioning one appliance as a whole-home solution. Its cylindrical silhouette follows the design language of the larger AirDoctor 4000, while Matte Black and Matte White finishes give households options for different interiors. For Ideal Living, which owns both AirDoctor and water-purification brand AquaTru, the smaller footprint broadens its clean-air offering within its wider wellness portfolio.
At the centre of the AirDoctor 1500 is the company’s UltraHEPA filter, which AirDoctor says has been independently tested and certified to capture 99.99% of airborne particles at 0.003 microns, including allergens, mould spores, bacteria and viruses. A combined carbon and volatile organic compound filter is designed to trap gases, odours and VOCs. The unit has a Clean Air Delivery Rate of 170 and, according to the company, circulates clean air four times an hour in a space measuring up to 320 square feet.
Automatic sensing continuously monitors air quality and adjusts purification, supported by an indicator light that provides a visual reading of conditions. Four fan speeds allow users to vary airflow, with operating sound levels starting at 35 decibels. The purifier also uses near-field communication to recognise a newly installed filter, while its all-in-one filtration unit is designed for replacement approximately every six months, depending on environmental conditions.
The AirDoctor 1500 is priced at $399 and is available through the AirDoctor website in both colour options. Helen Christoni, Ideal Living’s chief business officer, said the model was developed to serve different spaces, lifestyles and needs while retaining the filtration performance associated with the AirDoctor range. By packaging those features into a more portable tower, Ideal Living is giving the brand a format suited to households seeking targeted air treatment in individual rooms.
