MGM Resorts and a21 are bringing chefs, mixologists and industry voices together across four resorts, positioning Las Vegas as a destination for immersive drinks programming.
Drink Las Vegas will bring more than 50 food and beverage events to Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Park MGM from September 24 to 27. Hosted by MGM Resorts International in collaboration with experiential agency a21 and sports management company PRP, the four-day festival is designed to combine tastings, education and culinary experiences across the central Las Vegas Strip. The programme gives the event a broad hospitality footprint while keeping cocktails, wine, spirits and food pairings at its centre.
The festival is framed as a meeting point for beverage and culinary specialists rather than a conventional tasting event. Drink Las Vegas says its programme will bring together chefs, mixologists, sommeliers, celebrities and other industry voices through education sessions, tasting experiences and brand showcases. Its official website describes the event as a food and drink festival featuring curated cocktail, spirits and wine experiences across MGM Resorts destinations.
The planned schedule includes an opening-night experience, signature tastings pairing wine, spirits and other beverage brands with chef-led food, and intimate dining experiences built around expert mixology. Signature cocktail events, panels, seminars and master classes will add an instructional element, while speakeasy takeovers and late-night pop-ups are intended to extend the programme beyond formal tasting rooms. VIP and premium formats will offer additional access and curated programming.
The event’s structure reflects a hospitality strategy that treats beverage culture as both entertainment and expertise. Rather than concentrating activity in one venue, the festival will use four resort properties and multiple formats to connect destination dining, nightlife and industry participation. MGM Resorts’ Ryan Abboushi said the programme is intended to spotlight innovators in the beverage world and create opportunities for chefs and drink specialists to share ideas around craft and creativity.
Further details on ticketing, experiences, room packages and participating talent are scheduled to follow. The official Drink Las Vegas site already presents weekend passes, dining experiences, signature tastings, cocktail hours, brand experiences, panels and seminars as parts of the wider offer. For MGM Resorts and a21, the festival creates a focused platform for turning the Strip’s existing restaurant, bar and resort infrastructure into a connected celebration of contemporary drinks and food culture.
