The zero-sugar brand ranks first in dollar sales and units at a national convenience partner, highlighting its rapid progress in a crowded functional-soda market.
NO CAP! Soda Pop has ranked as the No. 1 modern soda brand by both dollar sales and units at a national convenience retailer with more than 2,000 stores. The ranking, based on the retailer’s latest 12 weeks of SPINS data, comes less than six months after NO CAP! entered the chain. The result gives the zero-sugar brand a significant position in convenience retail, where modern soda brands compete alongside established carbonated soft-drink labels.
NO CAP! placed ahead of modern soda competitors including Poppi and Olipop at the retailer, while also ranking No. 8 among all carbonated soft-drink brands across the chain. The company describes itself as a zero-caffeine soda brand with electrolytes, and its products are also formulated with prebiotics and postbiotics. Its range combines nostalgic flavour profiles with functional ingredients, placing the brand between traditional soda and the newer better-for-you segment.
Founded in August 2024, NO CAP! offers zero-sugar and zero-calorie sodas in addition to its zero-caffeine positioning. The brand has expanded its retail footprint and developed licensed collaborations with ICEE, Sour Punch and Albanese Gummies. Its products are sold through a growing network of retailers and online, giving the company routes to market beyond the convenience chain represented in the sales data.
The company’s convenience strategy also includes a planned presence at the 2026 NACS Show, scheduled for October 7–9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. NO CAP! is set to exhibit at Booth N1171, where retailers, buyers and other industry attendees can view its licensed collaborations and latest products. The brand is also working with its national convenience partner on a potential 2027 expansion involving exclusive new stock-keeping units across the retailer’s more than 2,000-store network.
The rankings provide a retail measure of NO CAP!’s momentum, but they remain specific to one convenience partner and the retailer’s stated 12-week data period. Even so, the combination of strong placement in modern soda, a top-10 position across all carbonated soft drinks and ongoing product collaborations gives the young brand a clearer platform for distribution growth. For NO CAP! Soda Pop, the next test will be whether that convenience performance can support broader repeat demand as the company develops its retail network.
