The bakery café chain is pairing seasonal nostalgia with a sharper flavour profile, using ghost pepper and chocolate to refresh its Halloween menu.
Paris Baguette is adding ghost pepper to its Halloween menu, pairing the ingredient with chocolate in a new Mochi Donut and an iced hot chocolate. The seasonal range also brings back decorated cakes, donuts, beverages and specialty boxes built around ghosts, spiders, cookies and gummy worms. Available from October 1 through November 1, the menu shows how limited-time bakery offerings can use familiar holiday cues while introducing a more adventurous flavour combination.
The two new items are the Ghost Pepper Chocolate Marble Mochi Donut and Ghost Pepper Iced Hot Chocolate. The donut uses Paris Baguette’s signature Mochi Donut with chocolate marble frosting and a ghost pepper kick, while the iced drink combines chocolate sweetness with the same fiery seasoning. Together, they extend Halloween beyond visual decoration by making flavour the central point of difference.
Returning items include the Halloween Scream Donut, a King Cream Donut filled with cookies and cream, white-chocolate icing and chocolate cookie eyes. The Spider Mochi Donut is finished with cookies and cream white chocolate, a chocolate sandwich cookie and chocolate spider legs. The menu also includes a Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake, Dirt & Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake, a Dirt & Worms Frappe and a Halloween Donut Box containing six Spider Mochi Donuts and six Halloween Scream Donuts for catering orders.
The range is designed to serve both individual visits and group occasions, with cakes available whole or by the slice and the donut assortment positioned for classroom, office and other gatherings. Paris Baguette is also tying the season to its PB Rewards programme, with scheduled offers including free coffee on September 29, a buy-one-get-one-free pastry offer on October 16, bonus points on selected Mondays, and a free pastry with any beverage purchase on October 31.
For Paris Baguette, the Halloween menu balances novelty with recognisable formats: ghost pepper supplies the new hook, while cookies-and-cream flavours, decorated cakes and themed donut shapes preserve the season’s familiar appeal. That combination gives the bakery café chain a way to create a more distinctive seasonal proposition without moving far from the products and visual language already associated with Halloween.
