The extended-stay franchisor has introduced discounted member rates, linking immediate savings with its broader Stay Rewarded loyalty programme and franchisee booking strategy.
My Place Hotels of America, also referred to in its release as My Place Hotels, has introduced Stay Rewarded Member Rates, a loyalty benefit that offers savings on direct bookings. The rates are available now at My Place locations nationwide, according to the company’s June 24, 2026 announcement. The move gives the extended-stay hotel franchisor a consumer-facing offer that also speaks to a central operational concern for hotel owners: encouraging guests to reserve rooms without using online travel agencies.
The new rates sit within the existing Stay Rewarded programme rather than replacing it. My Place Hotels says the programme provides points on qualified stays, extra earnings on pet stays through My Pet Points, access to exclusive offers, gift-card redemption options and early check-in or late check-out when available. Member Rates add an immediate financial benefit to those longer-term rewards, positioning the loyalty scheme around both the booking decision and the stay that follows.
For guests, enrollment is free and available online through the company’s Stay Rewarded page. The release does not state a single discount level or describe different tiers of membership, but it says the new rates are intended for loyalty members who book directly. The offer is therefore structured around access to a special rate rather than a change to the accommodation product itself, with availability tied to My Place properties across the country.
My Place Hotels frames the initiative as a tool for its franchisees as well as a benefit for guests. The company says direct booking can reduce reliance on OTAs and their associated commission costs, while immediate savings may help improve price competitiveness against those channels. It also says pairing the discount with points and other rewards is designed to increase enrolment and retention, although the release presents those points as the company’s rationale rather than as independently measured results.
The announcement illustrates how a relatively narrow rate benefit can serve two audiences at once: guests looking for a lower direct-booking price and franchisees seeking to keep more booking revenue within their hotels. My Place Hotels of America describes itself as an extended-stay hotel franchisor based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with a presence across 32 states and more than 125 hotels in its pipeline. Member Rates extend that franchise proposition into the loyalty experience, while leaving the company’s broader rewards structure in place.
