Airstream, Stetson and Four Sixes Ranch have created a premium trailer that brings branded craftsmanship and Western identity into mobile living.
Airstream has introduced the Airstream Stetson + 6666 Special Edition Travel Trailer, a collaboration with Stetson and Four Sixes Ranch that combines recreational-vehicle design with imagery and materials drawn from the American West. The 27-foot towable is the first model in Airstream’s new Collaboration Series, positioning the project as more than a one-off styling exercise. It gives Airstream a format for bringing outside brands into the design of a high-end mobile-living product.
The trailer draws on the ranching, small-town and frontier themes associated with the three partners. Airstream’s design and engineering teams in Jackson Center, Ohio, worked with Western-style and heritage specialists from Stetson and Four Sixes Ranch to shape the interior and exterior. The result combines Airstream’s aluminium shell and travel-focused layout with a visual language linked to Stetson’s hat-making and Western-wear history and Four Sixes Ranch’s Texas identity.
Inside, the trailer uses a dusty palette of rustic brown, warm clay, oxblood red and charcoal grey, alongside black-stained oak, a hammered copper kitchen sink, an oil-rubbed bronze bathroom sink and leather upholstery. Vintage Stetson advertising artwork, custom cushions, embossed logos, a hat rack and Western-inspired window coverings extend the theme across the living space. Outside, weathered metal accents, a Stetson hat screen-door guard, a red striped awning and a red beltline accent sit against the traditional silver exterior.
The model is configured for couples, solo travellers and families of up to four, with a choice of a queen bed or twin beds, a convertible dinette and an optional rear hatch with a sliding screen. Standard equipment includes 2.4 kWh of lithium batteries, a 2,000-watt inverter and a 300-watt rooftop solar charging system, while the trailer has a gross vehicle weight rating of 7,600 pounds. It is available to order through Airstream’s nationwide dealer network at $169,900.
The Collaboration Series is intended to bring new recreational-vehicle designs, custom-appointed interiors and high-end appliances created with brands from around the world. That approach turns partnership into a product-development framework, allowing Airstream to connect its established travel format with distinct cultural and lifestyle identities. The Stetson and Four Sixes Ranch trailer therefore serves as both a premium consumer product and an early test of how heritage branding can shape the experience of travel.
