New Sticky Toffee Pudding leads six seasonal flavours, while a sugar cookie sandwich and spiced chocolate bar give Jeni’s holiday range two additional formats.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has released its annual Splendid Holiday Collection, pairing six limited-time flavours with its first holiday ice cream sandwich and ice cream bar. The range draws on familiar desserts, cookies and festive drinks, with the new formats extending the seasonal offer beyond pints and scoop-shop servings.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is the new addition to the six-flavour line-up. Inspired by the British dessert, it combines vanilla and date molasses custard with brown sugar cake and buttery toffee sauce. Translating the dessert’s cake-and-sauce combination into ice cream gives the launch a recognisable reference point while bringing a different texture to the collection.
The five returning flavours cover several other dessert traditions. White Chocolate Peppermint combines pink and white peppermint with white chocolate freckles, while Pistachio Macaron centres on roasted pistachio cream. Cranberry Panettone with Chocolate Sprinkles pairs brioche-scented custard with cranberry-orange jam, and Black Tie Tiramisu brings together mocha and mascarpone ice creams, ladyfinger cookies and chocolate drizzle.
Boozy Eggnog completes the collection with a nutmeg-and-whiskey-spiked egg custard. It is available in pints only, an important distinction within a seasonal range offered online and through Jeni’s scoop shops nationwide while supplies last. The announcement does not disclose pricing for the collection.
The more significant format change comes with the two holiday novelties. The Buttercream Sugar Cookie sandwich puts buttercream frosting ice cream between vanilla sugar cookies with rainbow sprinkles. The Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownie J-Bar combines dark chocolate-cayenne ice cream with Mexican vanilla-cinnamon ice cream and chewy brownies, drawing inspiration from one of founder Jeni Britton’s earliest ice creams.
Both seasonal treats are available through major retailers including Kroger and Whole Foods Market. The sandwich will also be sold at Target and Harris Teeter and is already available at Costco stores in the Southeast market. Those grocery channels give the holiday range a different route to shoppers from the company’s online shop and scoop-shop network.
Across the collection, familiar holiday flavours provide continuity while the sandwich and bar change how the ice cream is served. That combination lets Jeni’s refresh an annual range through both a new recipe and new formats, giving returning customers several ways to revisit its seasonal offer.
The result is a holiday line-up that spans scoopable desserts and individually portioned treats. For Jeni’s, the expansion broadens the role of its seasonal collection in the freezer, with nostalgia linking the products even as their formats and retail channels differ.
