The Dubai-based yacht charter company has appointed Jochem Eenkhoorn to support a wider global offering and develop a more connected planning experience for clients.
Seven Yachts has appointed Jochem Eenkhoorn as Partner and Yacht Charter Director as the Dubai-based company expands its international charter offering. Announced on July 21, 2026, the appointment brings responsibility for supporting growth across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and selected explorer destinations. The move matters because it links a senior commercial appointment with an effort to extend the company’s established Dubai operation into a broader international model.
The company said it was established in Dubai more than 11 years ago and has built its business around owned and managed yachts, personalised service and knowledge of the UAE luxury yachting market. Its next phase will continue to include strengthening the Dubai operation while expanding the destinations available through its global charter offering. The release presents that expansion as a development of the existing business rather than a replacement for its regional base.
Eenkhoorn brings more than four and a half years of experience in the international yacht charter industry, according to the announcement. His stated areas of experience include global charter markets, client and owner representation, and the design of personalised experiences at sea. Seven Yachts said the expanded offering will cover destinations ranging from the Mediterranean and the Bahamas to remote islands, polar regions and other locations it describes as less frequently visited.
Alongside the appointment, Seven Yachts is building a dedicated digital charter platform. The planned system is intended to bring yachts, destinations, itineraries, charter experiences and client preferences into one place, replacing what the company characterises as fragmented email exchanges and outdated paperwork. Eenkhoorn said the technology is intended to support the relationship between clients and charter advisers, with the stated aim of making planning and communication more efficient without removing the advisory role.
The announcement therefore combines geographic expansion with an operational change in how charter journeys are planned. Seven Yachts said its ambition is to build an international charter operation while continuing to serve clients through a personalised approach, and it described the company’s guiding principle as “intentionally few, impeccably served.” The appointment gives that strategy a named executive lead, while the digital platform represents the company’s clearest stated investment in making its wider offering easier to organise.
