Bhaya Cruises is pairing restorative sailings on Bhaya Soul with cultural itineraries aboard The Au Co, positioning Ha Long Bay as a more layered holiday destination.
Bhaya Cruises has announced a seasonal programme in Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, combining a wellness-focused voyage aboard Bhaya Soul with cultural itineraries on The Au Co. The offering is aimed at North American travellers seeking comfort and managed onboard experiences in the UNESCO World Heritage site. Both vessels provide Western amenities, modern facilities and access to overnight cruising routes, giving the announcement a distinctly experience-led focus rather than presenting Ha Long Bay solely as a sightseeing destination.
The programme is split between two forms of travel. Bhaya Soul is designed around restorative stays, while The Au Co is presented for families and multi-generational travellers interested in regional heritage alongside premium accommodation. During the Christmas and New Year period, both cruises are scheduled to offer gala dinners, music, a midnight champagne toast and fireworks, with onboard restaurants, lounges, jacuzzis and heated pools included among the listed facilities.
Bhaya Soul’s ‘Soul Sanctuary’ series will run through October and November, with masterclasses scheduled for October 12 and 29 and November 11 and 21. The sessions include sound baths using handpans and crystal singing bowls, as well as yoga and ocean breathwork. The release also lists a herbal foot ritual and wellness treatment, organic kombucha setups and a weekly Herbal Eye Sachets Workshop. A two-night Bhaya Soul booking includes a one-night retreat at Namia River Retreat, while the advertised experience starts at US$789 per guest with round-trip luxury limousine transfers between Hanoi and Ha Long.
The cultural itinerary aboard The Au Co takes a different route through the destination’s appeal. Its large ocean-view cabins, onboard spa and open-air Jacuzzi deck are paired with guided visits to Cua Van Floating Village and kayaking around limestone karst and sandy beaches. Weekly activities include Nón lá painting, bamboo mask drawing and Trôi cake making, extending the cruise beyond passive observation into scheduled craft and food experiences.
Reservations and travel for the Bhaya Soul special offer are valid until October 31, 2026, according to the release. By placing wellness programming, festive events and cultural activities within separate cruise formats, Bhaya Cruises is presenting Ha Long Bay as a setting for different types of structured escape. The approach keeps the bay at the centre of the proposition while broadening the reasons travellers might choose an overnight sailing.
