Four confectionery products and a Golden Ticket experience extend Wonka into a seasonal retail programme built around discovery, participation and Netflix-linked entertainment.
Ferrero North America is bringing four limited-edition Wonka treats to shelves in November, pairing chocolate and sugar confectionery with a digital Golden Ticket experience. The range includes Magic Hats Chocolate Pralines, a Purplypurple Milk Chocolate Bar, Magic Garden Chewy Ropes and Oompa Loompa Gummies. The programme also links the brand to Netflix through a chance to win a trip for four to Netflix House in Las Vegas, which is scheduled to open in 2027.
The move gives Ferrero a seasonal platform for extending Wonka beyond a single confectionery format. The products draw on recognisable elements of Wonka’s fictional world while introducing varied combinations of fillings, flavours, colours and textures. Ferrero says the range is intended to bring a sense of discovery to ordinary snacking occasions, with each product translating a familiar story element into a shelf-ready format.
The four products cover distinct consumption experiences. Magic Hats Chocolate Pralines combine chocolate shells with fillings including Caramellion and Magenta Elixir, while the milk chocolate bar contains a purple caramel-flavoured centre. Magic Garden Chewy Ropes pair lime-flavoured candy with a lemon-flavoured centre, and the blueberry- and strawberry-flavoured Oompa Loompa Gummies contain a liquid raspberry-cola centre. Ferrero states that all four products are made without artificial colours.
Participation is built into the packaging through QR codes that open a digital unwrapping experience. Visitors can also access the experience through Wonka.com and enter for a chance to win the Netflix House trip, alongside additional instant-win prizes. The sweepstakes is open to eligible entrants in the United States and District of Columbia aged 21 and over, with entries scheduled to close on July 31, 2027.
For Ferrero, the Wonka programme combines limited-time product development with entertainment-led engagement and a broader portfolio strategy. The company holds the exclusive confectionery rights to the Wonka brand and has developed products across seasonal and cross-category experiences. With further inventions described as being in development at Ferrero’s Wonka Wonder Laboratories, the November range establishes a platform for continuing the brand’s movement between confectionery, digital interaction and screen culture.
