The cruise brand has introduced Mandala Fine Jewellery, extending its ocean-focused identity into a collection designed for onboard retail and personal keepsakes.
Explora Journeys introduced Mandala Fine Jewellery during an intimate soirée onboard EXPLORA I in Monte Carlo on June 6, 2026, held during the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2026. The collection translates the brand’s “Ocean State of Mind” philosophy into fine jewellery, with pieces intended to carry associations of memory, balance and connection beyond a voyage. The launch positions the collection as an extension of the company’s luxury ocean-travel proposition rather than a separate retail concept.
Mandala is built around the symbolism of Explora Journeys’ geometric emblem, which the company says reinterprets the ancient mandala as a representation of harmony between individual experience and the wider universe. Its circular geometry incorporates a lotus flower motif and a fleur-de-lis, elements the release associates respectively with purity and the brand’s European heritage. The resulting design language gives the jewellery a direct visual relationship with the cruise line’s existing identity.
The collection was developed with jewellery designer Fanny Blanchelande and combines precious metals and coloured gemstones with materials including enamel, ceramic, titanium and aluminium. Its inaugural offering is divided into three lines: Origin, centred on the family emblem; Horizon, inspired by the meeting of sea and sky; and Odyssey, drawing on Mediterranean colour, light and mosaic patterning. Smaller TenderTo interpretations accompany the principal designs, providing more compact versions of the signature pieces.
The launch also creates a new form of onboard experience for the brand, linking its hospitality setting with a category traditionally associated with individual expression and lasting value. The release reported that Mandala Fine Jewellery was scheduled to become available exclusively aboard EXPLORA III from its inaugural Journey on July 24, 2026, with the collection presented in a dedicated space at the Ocean Atelier jewellery boutique. It also said the range would extend to further ships across the fleet over time.
For Explora Journeys, Mandala gives physical form to a set of ideas already central to its positioning: the sea, European design and the emotional afterlife of travel. The company describes each piece as a personal talisman, while the collection’s materials and three-part structure provide a practical framework for expanding the range. In that sense, the jewellery launch broadens how the brand can be encountered onboard, without separating the product from the maritime setting that defines it.
