The sports-card retailer’s 19th location brings buying, selling, trading and grading services to a major US sports market near two Indianapolis venues.
CardVault by Tom Brady is opening a downtown Indianapolis store on Sunday, September 27, extending its physical retail network to a 19th location nationwide. The site at 2 N Meridian St. sits within walking distance of Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, positioning the retailer inside a concentrated sports and entertainment district. CardVault’s expansion illustrates how specialist collectibles businesses are using physical locations to connect trading-card commerce with fan culture and live sport.
The Indianapolis site is designed as a retail destination for sports fans and collectors across experience levels. CardVault says its stores are centred on sports cards, trading cards and authenticated memorabilia, with customers able to buy, sell and trade items while also submitting cards for professional grading. The move gives the company a presence in a city whose sports venues and teams provide a defined local setting for its collecting-focused format.
The store will carry single cards, sealed boxes, packs and collectibles from Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon and Fanatics Authentic. Its services will include grading submissions through PSA, Beckett and SGC, while a signature vault will rotate authenticated and autographed memorabilia such as helmets, jerseys, bats and balls. Opening-day activity includes a limited-edition Indianapolis-themed hat for the first 25 customers, a ticket opportunity for people waiting before the doors open and a drawing for a Jonathan Taylor signed mini helmet.
After opening day, the location is scheduled to operate daily from 10 AM to 8 PM and host trade nights, guest appearances, exclusive product launches and other events for the local collecting community. That programming broadens the store’s role beyond a conventional sales floor, giving CardVault a recurring platform for transactions, discovery and in-person interaction. The approach also links its retail business with the communal and entertainment-oriented aspects of contemporary collecting.
CardVault by Tom Brady also operates CardVault Breaks, a live-streaming business focused on real-time card openings and community participation. The company describes itself as co-owned by Tom Brady, Ed Kane, Randy Greenstein, Chris Costa, Tim Bonito and Scott Heigelmann, and says it has been recognised by Inc. Magazine among America’s fastest-growing private companies. With Indianapolis, CardVault is adding another sports-led market to a network built around specialist merchandise, authentication and collector engagement.
