The Florida transaction shows how focused brokerage and confidential marketing are shaping investment activity around established, limited-service hospitality assets.
DSH Hotel Advisors arranged the sale of the 75-room Comfort Inn & Suites Crestview South in Crestview, Florida, for an undisclosed price on May 21, 2026. The Tampa-based hotel brokerage and advisory firm represented seller Crestview Hospitality, LLC, with Managing Principal Dennis S. Hopper, CCIM, and Investment Associate Alexis Hajjar handling the transaction. The deal matters as a compact example of how a flagged, limited-service hotel can attract national investor interest while remaining within a specialised brokerage process.
The property operates under the Choice Hotels brand and is positioned near Interstate 10 and Florida State Road 85. According to the release, nearby military installations including Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, along with healthcare facilities, tourism destinations and commercial employers, contribute to year-round lodging demand. The hotel sits on approximately 2.34 acres, placing the transaction within the operationally focused segment of hospitality real estate rather than the larger full-service resort market.
DSH Hotel Advisors held the exclusive listing and conducted what it described as a targeted, confidential marketing process. The company said it secured a qualified buyer within two weeks of the exclusive listing engagement, generated interest from investors across the country and completed the transaction off-market within 86 days of the listing date. The release did not disclose the purchase price or identify the buyer by name, although it said the property would become part of RIDHAAN Realty Group’s growing portfolio.
The hotel’s operating history was also part of the investment case presented in the announcement. The property received the Choice Hotels Gold Award from 2023 through 2026 and the Choice Hotels Platinum Award from 2016 through 2022, in addition to an AAA 3 Diamond – Inspected Clean designation, a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award and a Booking.com Travelers Review Award. Those distinctions were cited by the company as indicators of the property’s established performance and guest satisfaction record, rather than as a guarantee of future results.
The transaction reflects DSH Hotel Advisors’ stated focus on hotel investment sales and its work with investors acquiring or disposing of hotel assets throughout the United States, with a regional emphasis in the southeast. Hopper said the firm was seeing increased momentum in hotel transactions, particularly for limited-service, flagged assets, while Hajjar pointed to investor demand for hospitality properties in the Gulf South and Florida Panhandle. With the Crestview sale completed on May 21, 2026, the announcement places specialised execution and asset positioning at the centre of the firm’s account of the deal.
