Blue Water is managing a new Burleson destination that reflects growing investment in extended-stay RV accommodation around the Fort Worth metropolitan area.
Blue Water is overseeing daily operations and guest experience at Roaming Trails RV Retreat Burleson, a gated long-term RV community developed by Provident in Burleson, Texas. The property opened on November 1, 2025, south of Fort Worth, introducing 196 oversized sites alongside amenities intended for seasonal residents and longer-term guests. The project also represents Provident’s first move into the long-term RV sector and the first of three planned Roaming Trails destinations, with San Antonio and Killeen slated to follow in 2026.
The retreat is positioned around extended-stay RV living rather than a conventional short-term campground model. Its layout combines privacy-fenced sites with concrete pads and roads, 50-amp connections, fibre internet, a resort-style pool and a modern clubhouse. The Roaming Trails website also describes the Burleson property as a long-term resort with full hookups, a community centre, fitness facilities and a gated setting, broadening the offer beyond a place to park an RV.
Programming is designed to connect the property with its regional setting through line dancing, barbecue events and local partnerships celebrating Texas culture. The operating model also emphasises security and connectivity, with keypad-controlled access and internet infrastructure identified as core elements of the guest experience. Reservations are open for stays beginning November 1, 2025, while the Burleson site promotes full-hookup, monthly covered and gated private-site options.
For Blue Water, the property adds another managed destination in Texas and brings its operating role into a new Provident-led development focused on longer-term occupancy. The Burleson location is Blue Water’s 12th Texas property under management, while the company’s broader portfolio spans more than 60 destinations across the United States, including RV resorts, campgrounds, glamping sites, hotels, marinas and attractions. Its involvement places the retreat within a wider outdoor-hospitality platform rather than treating it as a standalone campground.
The development illustrates how RV destinations are being structured as residential-style lifestyle communities, with recurring-stay infrastructure, shared amenities and locally themed programming built into the proposition. Provident’s planned sequence of three Roaming Trails sites gives the concept a wider development pathway, while Blue Water’s management role links the individual property to an established hospitality operation. The Burleson retreat therefore serves as both a new accommodation option near Fort Worth and an early test of a longer-term RV format in Texas.
