Anantara and Jim Thompson have expanded their relationship with a nine-piece resort-wear collection, extending a hotel design partnership into take-home fashion and accessories.
Anantara Hotels & Resorts has expanded its collaboration with Thai heritage silk house Jim Thompson through Soul of Siam, a nine-piece resort-wear and accessories collection available across Anantara properties in Thailand. The range extends an existing relationship that has previously shaped the Jim Thompson Explorer Suite at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel and a designer villa at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. For Anantara, the project connects the visual language of its hotels with products guests can wear, use and take home.
The collaboration sits within a hospitality setting where place-specific design is used to shape the guest experience beyond rooms and public spaces. Anantara’s own description positions Soul of Siam around Thai traditions, craftsmanship and cultural references, while the collection’s design draws on temple architecture, mythical guardian figures, rural landscapes and tropical flora. Its bespoke logo also incorporates a stylised letter A inspired by the silhouette of traditional Thai temple architecture.
The collection includes a wrap kaftan, silk scarf, silk pocket square, Capri beach bag, origami elephant cap, vanity travel pouch and laptop case. The pieces use either the signature Soul of Siam print or a deep navy palette, providing a more understated interpretation of Thai-inspired styling. Anantara and Jim Thompson say the products are cut, milled and finished using techniques associated with the silk house, with the design developed specifically for the collaboration.
Soul of Siam is available from 1 September 2026 through curated pop-up displays at all Anantara properties in Thailand, as well as Jim Thompson stores and online channels, while stocks last. Participating hotels span Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Phuket. The collection is also presented through campaign imagery featuring Cindy Sirinya Bishop and Byron Bishop, photographed at Anantara Siam Bangkok and Anantara Riverside Bangkok.
The partnership gives Anantara a way to make its Thai identity tangible outside the stay itself, while giving Jim Thompson another setting in which to frame its silk heritage through contemporary lifestyle products. It also reflects the broader role of hotel collaborations as curated extensions of place, linking interiors, fashion and retail without separating them from the destination story. For Anantara, the collection keeps the focus on a narrow but increasingly integrated proposition: hospitality expressed through objects as well as accommodation.
