Baymo is extending its immersive haunted-hotel concept into the holiday season, adding seasonal décor, a scavenger hunt and new ways to engage visitors.
BOO! by Baymo is bringing BOO! Holiday Haunt back to Galleria Dallas for the holiday season, repositioning its 13-room haunted-hotel experience as a Christmas attraction. Baymo’s concept is housed inside the fictional BooMont Hotel, a setting built around mystery, paranormal lore and theatrical surprises. The move matters because it extends an experience first presented during Halloween into a second major seasonal period, giving the creative partnership a broader platform for its immersive format.
The experience imagines a hotel that closed a century ago after unusual disappearances and encounters with the paranormal. For its holiday run, the space has been redecorated with a dark Christmas aesthetic described by Baymo as Jack Skellington-style, while lingering spirits remain part of the story. A themed scavenger hunt adds an additional narrative layer, inviting visitors to search for clues as they move through the attraction.
BOO! is designed as an hour-long walkthrough, with candid photographs and selfies encouraged throughout the visit. Guests can download images instantly or choose a printed keepsake, extending the attraction’s role beyond a conventional haunted house into a photo-led social experience. The holiday version also features a different layout and additional mystery compared with the Halloween presentation, according to Scot Redman, a member of the SNOWDAY team.
Tickets begin at $15 for children aged 12 and younger and $25 for adults and children aged 13 and above. The attraction is scheduled to operate through Sunday, Jan. 4, following Galleria Dallas’s hours, with a special adults-only Champagne night each Thursday. BOO! is located on the shopping centre’s third floor near the Play Place, at 13350 Dallas Parkway, and combination pricing is available for visitors pairing it with Baymo’s SNOWDAY and Santaland experiences.
The project sits within BAYMO’s wider work creating interactive and visual experiences through the partnership of Bayer Brothers Sets and Motus. At Galleria Dallas, the team is already associated with the established SNOWDAY and Santaland holiday traditions, making BOO! a seasonal variation on an existing experiential model rather than a standalone installation. Its return suggests a strategy of adapting one environment across the calendar while changing the narrative, visual treatment and visitor activities to suit a new occasion.
