The Louisville event has opened official accommodation blocks ahead of its October show, underscoring the logistical scale of a major industry gathering.
Equip Exposition has opened official hotel blocks for industry members planning to attend its 2026 trade show in Louisville, Kentucky. The event is scheduled for October 20–23 and brings together landscapers, dealers, contractors, hardscape specialists and outdoor power equipment manufacturers. Early accommodation access matters because the show expects strong demand for rooms around the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Louisville Tourism and its Louisville Housing Bureau are serving as the official housing provider for the event. Attendees and exhibitors booking through the official provider will be entered into prize drawings, with potential rewards including a Louisville gift basket, personalised bourbon bottles or a complimentary hotel room during their stay. Room blocks for groups of 10 or more are also available.
The 2026 programme will include equipment demonstrations, professional education, networking and the Outdoor Demo Yard, alongside a new closing party at Paristown Point. Registration is open, with winter attendee pricing set at $25 through May 31, 2026. Hardscape North America will continue to co-locate with the show.
The booking push reflects the operational demands of a trade event that drew nearly 30,000 registrants the previous year, according to Equip Exposition. The show also contributes more than $25 million to Louisville, while its organisers describe it as one of the three largest trade shows in the United States. Those figures position hotel capacity as part of the event’s wider economic and industry footprint rather than a purely administrative detail.
Equip Exposition is owned and managed by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, which represents manufacturers and suppliers across outdoor power equipment, parts, small engines, battery systems, generators, utility vehicles and related categories. The show is scheduled to remain in Louisville through 2028 before alternating with Orlando from 2029, returning to Louisville in 2030. For the 2026 edition, securing accommodation through the designated housing channel is central to the organisers’ attendance strategy.
