The steakhouse brand is preparing openings in Mexico City, Ibiza and Dubai as it broadens its presence across high-profile culinary and travel destinations.
Nusr-Et Steakhouse is preparing to open a restaurant at The St. Regis Mexico City this spring, marking the brand’s first location in Latin America. The move places the company alongside a luxury hotel operator in one of the region’s prominent dining capitals and extends a growth programme already spanning Europe and the Middle East. Nusr-Et said the Mexico City site will form part of its continued international expansion, while the wider plan includes further openings in Ibiza and at The Dubai Mall.
The Mexico City restaurant follows Nusr-Et’s entry into Italy with its Milan location, which the company describes as its first restaurant in the country. According to Nusr-Et, the Milan site has attracted strong demand and critical attention since opening, reinforcing the brand’s presence in a competitive European culinary market. The company’s expansion model is therefore centred on internationally recognised destinations where dining, luxury hospitality and tourism overlap.
In Ibiza, the planned restaurant is set to offer the full Nusr-Et Steakhouse experience, including the brand’s premium cuts and theatrical service. The Dubai development will take a different format, with a flagship Saltbae Burger location planned for The Dubai Mall in 2026. Together, the projects extend the company’s restaurant portfolio across both destination dining and luxury fast-casual, while retaining the Nusret Gökçe name and service style at the centre of the proposition.
Nusr-Et said it operates more than 20 restaurants across three continents and employs more than 1,600 people worldwide. Its official website describes a network of more than 20 locations across eight countries, indicating a footprint that is already distributed across multiple markets rather than concentrated in a single region. The next phase suggests a measured approach to adding sites, with each opening tied to a specific hotel, retail or travel environment.
For the company, the Mexico City opening is more than a geographic extension: it tests whether the Nusr-Et format can translate into a new regional dining market while remaining consistent with its established luxury positioning. The planned Ibiza and Dubai sites broaden that test across two different kinds of international visitor destination. If completed as outlined, the openings will give Nusr-Et a wider platform for combining premium steakhouse dining, branded service theatre and destination-led hospitality.
