The automaker will again anchor Overland Expo with vehicle displays, practical workshops and owner-focused programming across the 2026 event series.
Subaru of America, Inc. will return as title sponsor of the 2026 Overland Expo series, placing Camp Subaru at the centre of an event programme built around off-road education, entertainment and owner interaction. The exhibit will include workshops, live Subie & YOU! Podcast recordings, music, limited-edition giveaways and Subaru Gear. The renewed presence gives the automaker a broad platform to connect its vehicle range with the practical and social dimensions of outdoor travel.
Camp Subaru will feature the 2026 Crosstrek Wilderness, 2026 Outback Wilderness, 2026 Forester Wilderness, 2026 Trailseeker and 2026 Forester Hybrid, alongside accessories from REI and Thule. Attendees will be able to explore vehicle customisation options and learn about off-roading, camp setup, navigation and route planning. The format places product discovery alongside hands-on guidance rather than presenting the vehicles as a standalone display.
The 2026 series is scheduled to visit Costa Mesa, California, from March 14-15; Flagstaff, Arizona, from May 15-17; Redmond, Oregon, from June 26-28; Loveland, Colorado, from August 21-23; and Arrington, Virginia, from October 23-25. Select locations will offer an evening reception and access to Subaru Base Camp, an owner-focused camping area with food, beverages and yoga classes. Subaru will also work with local shelters on pet adoptions at each stop, supported by pet-travel workshops, water stations, dog treats and giveaways.
The programme reflects how Subaru is using experiential events to join its automotive proposition to a wider ownership community. The company points to more than eight million Americans taking overlanding trips in 2024 and expects that figure to reach more than 12 million in the coming years. Against that backdrop, the event combines demonstrations of off-road capability with education, customisation and peer-to-peer participation.
For Subaru, the Overland Expo partnership extends beyond displaying new SUVs: it creates a recurring setting where prospective and existing owners can exchange ideas, plan excursions and engage with the brand’s community initiatives. The combination of vehicles, outdoor accessories, media, workshops and pet-focused activities gives Camp Subaru several points of entry for visitors. Its 2026 return therefore positions the event series as both a marketing platform and an expression of the broader lifestyle surrounding Subaru ownership.
