Michael and Bryan Voltaggio will host a Marcado 28 tasting and bottle signing, illustrating how specialist retailers can turn product discovery into a live occasion.
ABC Fine Wine & Spirits will host celebrity chefs Michael and Bryan Voltaggio for a Marcado 28 Tequila tasting and bottle signing at its Winter Park Village store in Florida. The retailer scheduled the free public event for Friday, November 14, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET at 401 N. Orlando Avenue in Winter Park. The format combines sampling, bottle purchases and direct interaction with the chefs in a single in-store experience.
The Voltaggio brothers are known for their culinary work and appearances on television cooking competitions, giving the event a crossover between drinks retail, food culture and entertainment. Guests will be able to sample Marcado 28 Tequila and purchase bottles signed by the brothers. ABC said signed bottles would be offered only in the store during the scheduled event hours and while supplies lasted, making the physical location central to participation.
Attendance requires no registration, but entry and meet-and-greet opportunities will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must be aged 21 or older, and the chefs will not sign merchandise other than the designated tequila bottles. ABC also cautioned that limited time and expected attendance meant meeting the brothers could not be guaranteed. With parking limited and queues potentially extending outdoors, the retailer recommended ride sharing and planning for Florida weather.
The tightly defined conditions distinguish the occasion from an ordinary tasting by linking access, sampling and signed purchases to a short window at one branch. For ABC, the event places staff, store operations and product selection around a recognisable culinary partnership rather than treating the bottle solely as a shelf item. The structure also directs interest generated by the Voltaggios towards an experience that can only be completed in person, although the company made clear that capacity constraints would shape participation.
Founded in 1936, ABC describes itself as a family-owned and operated Florida retailer of wine, spirits and fine cigars, with 127 stores across the state. The Winter Park programme uses that retail footprint as a setting for a focused encounter between a drinks brand, culinary personalities and local guests. By pairing a tasting with a limited bottle-signing opportunity, ABC is positioning the store as both a purchasing destination and a venue for product-led cultural experiences.
