The Montego Bay resort is combining seasonal celebrations, wellness programming and a complimentary-night offer as luxury travel places greater emphasis on restorative stays.
Round Hill Hotel & Villas is framing its summer programme around restoration, combining family occasions, sport, wellness and Caribbean hospitality at its Montego Bay resort. The programme begins with Mother’s Day activities, continues with a pickleball tournament and a wellness residency, and concludes with Fourth of July programming that pairs American traditions with Jamaica’s setting. The approach gives the property a broad seasonal proposition built around time spent together rather than a single attraction.
Mother’s Day weekend will feature a Jamaican family-style brunch, a 120-minute “Sacred Rest” spa ritual and complimentary activities at the Pineapple Kids Club. The brunch is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, from noon to 3pm, while the spa experience combines massage, body scrub and facial treatments with champagne and a spa café tasting. The children’s programme is intended to give parents time at the spa, shoreline or tennis courts, according to Round Hill.
The resort’s sporting and wellness calendar adds further structure to the season. The Short Court Pickleball Invitational is scheduled for May 15–17, with men’s, women’s and mixed divisions and PPR-certified instructors on site. Naturopath and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner Caroline Alboneti is scheduled to host wellness programming from June 26 to July 5, offering guests access to holistic therapies and wellness practices before the Independence Day weekend.
Fourth of July programming will include a doubles pickleball tournament for adults and children, a beach barbecue, a guided bourbon tasting and an evening sequence of themed cocktails followed by fireworks over the water. Children’s activities will include crafts, an outdoor film, Mini Olympics, a baking workshop, scavenger hunt and talent show. Together, the schedule positions the holiday as a multi-generational resort experience while retaining a distinctly Jamaican backdrop.
Round Hill is also using the season to promote longer stays through its “Extend Your Sanctuary” initiative. Guests booking within the stated summer travel window of April 12 through September 1, 2026, will receive a complimentary third night. The offer, alongside the resort’s food, wellness, sport and children’s programming, suggests a strategy focused on extending the value of a stay through layered experiences rather than relying solely on peak-date celebrations.
