The company’s new Booking Engine places booking, retailing and partner services inside hotel websites, reflecting a sharper focus on direct digital revenue.
Aven Hospitality has introduced a redesigned Booking Engine intended to centralise the hotel booking journey, with the first properties already live through Navarino Services. The platform is powered by SynXis and is designed to give hotels greater control over how rooms, rates and additional services are presented to guests. For Aven, the announcement places direct booking and hospitality commerce at the centre of its product strategy, rather than treating the booking page as a standalone transaction.
The new system addresses a practical problem in hotel distribution: booking, retailing and payments are often managed through separate technologies. Aven says its Booking Engine is embedded directly within a hotel’s website, preserving the property’s branded environment and avoiding redirects during the booking process. The company describes that in-context design as a way to reduce friction that can contribute to abandonment while giving hoteliers more flexibility over the direct channel.
Functionally, the Booking Engine includes dynamic room and rate displays, a flexible cart and a responsive interface. Aven also says pages load more than three times faster, while the platform connects with its payments and vendor-partner solutions. Those integrations can allow hotels to include services such as buy-now-pay-later options and trip protection within the booking flow, alongside other value-added offerings. Future phased enhancements cited by the company include a revamped design tool and deeper payment integrations.
The early rollout gives the announcement a concrete operating example. Richard Duff, chief executive of Navarino Services, said the company had recorded revenue growth of more than 30% during the first month of its properties being live on the pilot, without additional demand-generating activity. That result is a statement from Navarino Services rather than an independently verified performance measure, but it illustrates the commercial case Aven is making for a more integrated booking experience.
The rollout is underway with selected hospitality partners participating as early adopters, and existing Aven customers can contact their account managers for further information. Aven says its broader SynXis platform coordinates hotel information across more than 600 integrations and serves more than 35,000 hotels in over 190 countries. The Booking Engine therefore extends an existing distribution and commerce infrastructure into a more visible part of the guest journey, with the company positioning control, brand consistency and conversion as the principal measures of progress.
